Role Overview
The Client Support Specialist is responsible for being the primary point of contact for client support requests—ensuring clients feel guided, heard, and unblocked while Inventeer maintains a tight feedback loop between real client needs and engineering execution. This role owns the full support loop: intake → clarification → reproduction/triage → prioritization proposal → coordination with Engineering → client updates → resolution confirmation. Success is measured by client trust, fast and clear communication, high-quality triage, and reduced friction between client needs and delivery.
Key Responsibilities

- Ability to write high-quality tickets for engineers (steps, expected vs actual, impact, screenshots/logs).
- Comfort working with engineering teams and navigating tradeoffs (scope, timelines, priorities).
- Strong organizational skills: tracking multiple threads and closing loops reliably.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting SaaS products or technical platforms.
- Familiarity with QA-style thinking (severity vs priority, regression patterns, edge cases).
- Basic comfort reading logs, using browser dev tools, or running simple API requests (Postman/cURL).
- Experience writing knowledge base articles and maintaining support documentation.
- Experience working with remote teams across time zones.
Behavioral Expectations
- Ownership: treats every client request as a loop to close—no dropped threads.
- Client trust mindset: communicates clearly, sets expectations, and avoids overpromising.
- High-signal triage: escalates to Engineering with strong context and reproducible information.
- Calm under pressure: handles complaints professionally and keeps the process moving.
