Questions that should be answered before an engagement

Use these answers to decide what Inventeer is, what the client buys, how AI fits, and when another model is more appropriate.

Category and offer

What is Productivity Engineering?

Productivity Engineering is the category Inventeer positions itself in. It focuses on engineering productivity into how work is delivered, including the operating decisions around intake, scope, execution, evidence, and measurable improvement.

What does a client buy from Inventeer?

The client buys an operated engineering engagement: the whole operation, or a bounded part delivered as a dedicated cell with Inventeer’s people, process, and methodology. The client does not buy the delivery system or an AI engine as a standalone product.

What is the Inventeer Delivery System?

The Inventeer Delivery System is the method the operation runs on. It structures requests, records approvals, governs execution, and connects completion to evidence. It explains how the engagement works. It is not the commercial object.

Is Inventeer a software house, consultancy, staffing company, or tool vendor?

No single label describes the engagement. A software house delivers construction, a consultancy delivers recommendations, staffing delivers people, and a tool vendor delivers a tool. Inventeer takes responsibility for an engineering operation or a bounded dedicated cell and for how its performance is measured.

Operation and AI

What does AI do inside the operation?

AI adds execution capacity after the operation has defined context, boundaries, and approval. People remain responsible for judgment. Inventeer does not publish a catalogue of internal assistants, model names, or versions.

Do we need to replace our current tools?

Not by default. Tool fit depends on the environment and engagement. The operating model is engine-agnostic, which means the method does not depend on selling one named AI engine.

Who approves scope and technical decisions?

The engagement defines decision rights explicitly. The client keeps approvals that require its business or technical authority. Inventeer owns the operation or cell it agreed to run.

How is completion verified?

Completion points to inspectable evidence tied to the approved agreement. The exact artifact depends on the work. Inventeer does not replace that proof with a status claim.

Fit and boundaries

When is Inventeer a strong fit?

When software delivery is active, coordination depends on a few people, repeated handoffs create rework, and leadership can change how work moves. The trigger is not interest in AI. It is the point where coordinating separate pieces costs more than any single piece.

When should a company not choose Inventeer?

Do not choose this model when informal coordination still works reliably, when the need is advice without execution, when the buyer wants individual people inside its existing process, or when leadership will not change intake, approval, or accountability.

Does Inventeer offer staff augmentation?

No. A dedicated cell is bounded by an operation and carries Inventeer’s own process and accountability. It is not a person rented into the client’s process.

Does Inventeer publish prices or fixed timelines?

No governed public price or delivery timeline exists today. Commercial terms depend on the engagement.

Company and next step

Where does Inventeer operate?

Inventeer works with an internationally distributed team.

What should I do before submitting a project?

First, inspect where your current process loses context, approval, or evidence. Then submit project context only when the problem requires an operated engagement rather than another piece of advice, capacity, or tooling.
